Windows client touch screen incorrect

  • Primary machine operating system: Windows 10
  • Secondary machine operating system: Windows 10 (using Windows viewer not UWP app)
  • Primary machine's Graphics adapter: Nvidia
  • Network connection type: Wireless

I'm trying to use my touchscreen Windows laptop as a touchscreen monitor for my Windows desktop computer. The connection works fine and I can use mouse etc. however the touchscreen behaves strangely. Touching in the top left of the screen is correct but as I move away from the top left the touches stay in that corner of the display.

First I show a demo in the web browser on the laptop, then I switch to the SpaceDesk window and show the same demo on the desktop machine through SpaceDesk.

Hi @benney,

Link is not allowed to post due to security issue.
Did you install the most recent spacedesk Driver v0.9.95?
Can you possibly try the UWP Viewer app for comparison?

I have latest drivers installed.

I tried UWP app and that seems to work better. Is non-UWP version not supported on Windows 10?

Hi @benney,

The non-UWP/desktop version Windows Viewer is still supported on Windows 10.
However, it is recommended to use the UWP Viewer version for Windows 10 because it's the most updated and improved version compared to the desktop version.

We only keep the desktop version of Windows Viewer for Windows 7/8.1 secondary machine.
