How do I stream my PC to an LG TV
I have a WebOS LG TV that is connected to my 5ghz router thru WIFI.
I also have a desktop computer that is connected to the same router but with an ethernet cable.
The PC has its own screen and does NOT have Wifi
Is it possible for me to stream my desktop / games to the LG tv ? I wanted to buy a steam link but I noticed they discontinued it :/
The TV recognized my PC however it can only play specific media files thhtu a shared folder on the network...thats not what I want. I want streaming on my Windows 10 pro x64.
I noticed it supports IntelWidi, but thats ONLY for wireless laptops ...
The other solution would be miracast, but I cannot solve it because my PC cannot stream to a wireless screen...idk why ?

MY laptop with windows 10 connects fint to the TV with 1 clcik.
I dont get it why I cannot do this with my PC ? I know it connects with ethernet cable, but still its on the same network, and I would think connecting with etherned would be even better then WIFI connection.
IS there any program maybe that solves this ?
LIke The laptop works fine, btu the PC cannot connect ? Every device on the same network.
The only solution is that I need to buy a WIFI adapter for my PC? Then probably miracast would work?

Hi @pumab,
Are you using spacedesk HTML5 Viewer on your Web OS LG TV?

Well Thank you! This actually helped this is the first streaming methood that worked between my PC and the WebOS LG TV.

However if I want to stream a good quality it lags horribly.

I think the TV itself is not pwoer full enough ? Im not sure why . HTML5 Viewer seems to work on the TV but the lag makes it unwatchable whatever I try to stream.

My original question is a theoritical though only.

I kinda find it riddiculus how I bought a smart tv and it dose not support streaming over Ethernet, only Wifi devices work. ( miracast, Itel widi, same bullshit )

I am wondering if I buy a wifi adapter for my PC , than streaming would work fine ? Because with a laptop it works fine.

Hi @pumab,
Yes, connection via HTML5 VIEWER is much slower than our native apps on Android, iOS and Windows.
This is due to technical limitation of HTML5/Javascript.

Yes I think it will work on your PC if you have WiFi adapter there.
