Touch recognized as Mouse click

Hi all,

Many thanks to the Spacedesk developers: this is an awesome utility!

I am using Spacedesk on an external tablet (Samsung Galaxy Tab A and iPad). Although the touch is functioning, it seems that Windows recognizes the Touch as a Mouse click. The difference between Mouse click and Touch is essential to my application. Is my observation correct, and is there a solution to this?

Hi @f1sd,
Currently, the touch feature of the viewer app supports absolute and relative (touchpad/trackpad) touch and only 'single touch input'.
Multi-touch feature is not yet available.
We are currently very busy with higher prioritized features and bug fixes.
The multi-touch feature will probably not coming so soon.

Hello Lea, thank you for your quick reply. However, please read my question carefully. I am not asking about multi-touch features. The touch *is* functioning, but seems to be recognized by Windows as a mouse click instead of a touch event. I need touch events for my application to work.

Hi @f1sd,
yes that's how it works with the current spacedesk version.
By touching the android screen, the spacedesk driver in primary machine will receive it as mouse input event.
