Terrible image quality / distorted image

Hi, I was able to set it up quickly, but for some reason I get a terrible image quality / it looks like if it's sort of distorted, like vertical lines of pixels missing.

My two machines used are on both Win10.

My laptop - which's screen I am sharing - has an AMD processor with integrated graphic (Ryzen).

My PC has an NVIDIA 980TI with intel processor.

Laptop is on WiFi, PC is connected via ethernet cable.

Everything is updated, I even tried switching resolutions, nothing happened.

I appreciate your help in advance!

Yes, definietly!

Looks like it has some fitting / resolution issues, but even when I try to change the resolution, it doesen't help.

Hi @dacher,
Posting links are not allowed due to security reasons.
Can you check if you can see the attach option in the editor?
It should be visible after first or second post.

Hi @dacher,
Did you already tried adjusting the image quality in the viewer's settings -> Quality?
It might also help to try to switch the viewer app to fullscreen mode if the resolution is the same as the monitor.

Yes, tried both.

The problem might originate from the fact that my PC has a 21:9 and a 16:10 monitor attached to it, while the laptop has a 16:9.

But however I am trying to adjust the resolution in windows or in the viewer, no combination seems to help.

Is there maybe a setting which I am not seeing, or will it just probably not work?

Hi @dacher,
to try a different resolution, you can also manually set a custom resolution (in the viewer's settings -> resolution -> other screen resolution) as long as it's even number.
But actually, using the native resolution of your client machine and switching the viewer app to fullscreen is the best option. You might also set the scaling of the secondary display on the primary machine's display settings.
What is your PC's primary display's native resolution?

I also tried the custom resolution.

Well my PC's primary native resolution is 3440 by 1440, but I want to use it on my second monitor, which is 1650 by 1050. (My laptop's is 1920 by 1080).

so your primary machine is dual monitor, right?
And then you want to mirror your second monitor(1650x1050) to your laptop via spacedesk viewer (which is current 1920x1080), is that correct?

My PC is dual monitor, and I want to mirror my Laptop screen to my second screen of my PC.

(Basically using my Laptop as a drawing tablet, and see it on my PC's second screen)

Hi @dacher,
The only option is to set your second monitor from 1650x1050 to 1920x1080 (via display settings) then mirror it on your laptop via spacedesk viewer with 1920x1080 (then switch to fullscreen).
I don't think it's possible to switch your laptop's screen to 1650x1050 (which is bigger than the native resolution), so the bigger monitor will have to adjust.
