Stuck on "IP-Validation in progress" on Android

Hi !

So I've set spacedesk server on my main PC and the spacedesk client works perfectly on my secondary PC, but once I try to log in from my Android device... it doesn't detect the server!

When I enter manually the IP, I get stuck on "IP-Validation in progress"...

The reason why I use spacedesk is to stream the secondary virtual screen to my Android device, so now I'm stuck!

I have to say, I'm using VPN though, as my main PC is actually a cloud computer.

It's a meshed kind of VPN, my cloud computer, my local computer and my android device can all ping each-others and share files, the only thing that doesn't work so far is spacedesk on Android (but it works flawlessly between the two PCs).

 

Any help?

I have the same issue but I am not on VPN. 

my PC and android tablet is connected to the same wifi network and connected via USB. 

my PC is windows 10 64 bits. 

I was able to connect my tablet with another PC previously that was also Windows 10. 

Tablet version 6.0.1

Yes the tablet was connected to wifi as well as usb connected to the primary machine. Is it not supposed to?

Spacedesk was running

Firewall confirmed setup as noted in the instruction. 

I restarted my computer as well.

Hi @daphne,

Is your tablet connected to the wifi and USB at the same time?
Is it USB tethering connection? or native USB debugging?
Is there any third party Firewall software or antivirus (with own firewall) currently active on your Windows 10 PC?
Could you please check if spacedesk is running properly on your primary machine (Windows 10 PC).
- spacedeskService running  (just run services.msc and find spacedeskService maybe try to restart it)
- spacedesk server status shows ON (spacedesk SERVER window)

Hi, It stopped working again this morning. 

I cleared data/cache on the app. 

Reinstalled the app and repaired the app on the PC.

I am able to connect through wifi connection but I prefer USB as it performs way better. Wifi is so laggy it is only good for document viewing even though I set to the lowest quality, fastest rate.

Please try USB tethering connection approach, this will improve the performance.
For assistance, please refer to the USB tethering steps in our user manual.
