Hi! I have 2 Android Galaxy Tab A (2019) tablets running spacedesk 0.9.56, connected to my Windows PC running spacedesk driver 0.9.42. (I compiled my own AOSP on one of these tablets to ensure they each have a unique IP, because I'm USB tethering both devices and the IP of 192.168.42.129 is hard-coded into AOSP!)

Everything works pretty well. However, I'm having a problem with OBS Studio, which is having trouble remembering which projector goes on which screen when it starts up after selecting "Save projectors on exit." Here's what I see in OBS Studio (1 + 2 are my physical monitors and 3 + 4 are the spacedesk screens):

<img class="transparent" src=" removed link " alt=" removed link " />

I don't know if it's related, but in OBS (like you can see above) and in Windows "Advanced display settings" the name for the spacedesk displays is blank, unlike the monitors connected to my NVidia card, which both have names. Is it possible that these are related? I'm happy to provide more information or test a new driver.

FWIW, here are the Windows display settings dialogs. Like in OBS Studio, 1 + 2 are my physical monitors and 3 + 4 are the spacedesk screens. FWIW, even though OBS Studio gets confused, the positions of 3 and 4 in Windows never get switched around in Windows.

<img src=" removed link " />

Thanks!

- Ben

Mods: can you fix my post so the images work? I've tried posting the screenshots multiple times, but it keeps filtering them out.

Hi @ckbcowboy,

Posting links are not allowed.

Please send us the DxDiag text file. Run dxdiag.exe on your primary machine,
click "Save All Information", then save the output file (dxdiag.txt).

Please look for the Choose File button to attach the images and the Dxdiag text file.

@spacedesknicole, I don't see a "Choose File" button. Can you tell me where it is?

Hi @ckbcowboy,

Thank you very much for the details.

Currently, our software does not support EDID yet.
We assumed this is the reason why our displays do not have display names.

Were you trying the Fullscreen Projector (preview/source)?
Was spacedesk connected first before opening the OBS Studio?

I've tried both the fullscreen and windowed projectors. Spacedesk is always connected first (I never disconnect spacedesk). The behavior is, unfortunately, inconsistent.
