[Solved] Secondary screen upside down

Windows 10 with Amazon Kindle Fire. I use the fire to extend the desktop. From installation until today it has worked perfectly. (I only occasionally need to use Spacedesk, so haven't used it in close to a month until today) Now the extended screen on the Kindle is upside down. When I use the Windows 10 external display settings to set orientation to "Landscape Flipped", the main desktop display gets flipped and the Kindle extended display stays flipped. Changing the "rotation" setting in Kindle settings makes no difference. Physically rotating (flipping) the Kindle devise still results in an upside down display on the desktop extension.

I'm out of ideas on what settings to try to adjust. Ideas?

Hi @freewheeler-ken,
Is your spacedesk Driver the latest version 0.9.67?
Can you send us the screenshot of the flipped display?
PS: Attach option should be visible on your side after your second post.

I see no way to attach the two graphic files I have for you.

OK, now I see there is a link for file attachments. I have a screenshot and a snapshot of the Kindle screen taken with a camera. Looks like I'll have to attach them as two separate messages.

The Kindle screen. Rotating the Kindle makes no difference. Changing settings sometimes produced a landscape setting but with the screen upside down. Flipping the Kindle just shows the screen upside down in the opposite orientation.

The Kindle screen. Orientation of the device or the settings make no difference. I can sometimes get landscape mode, but always upside down.

Hi @freewheeler-ken,
Thanks for sending the screenshot.
Could you please try to the following steps:
- on the spacedesk SERVER window, 3 dots menu button, click the "clear all display settings"
- On your Kindle device, open the viewer app settings and disable the Auto rotation
- connect the spacedesk viewer app
- if it's still displaying the same rotated display, you can now set the orientation manually on the display settings

Hi @freewheeler-ken,

By the way, did you also enable the videowall mode via videowall engine window?
If videowall is enabled, auto-rotation will not work.

I know nothing about "videowall" and do not see it installed on my system.

That did the trick! Thank you! I had not noticed the "..." settings indicator on the server panel.
