Hi @iiibbbmmm,

You can easily correct the rotation via display settings -> Orientation (drop down menu) on your primary machine.

In my picture, screen on the left side is the primary machine.

It shows the Orientation setting with horizontal (1600x900).

If I change it to Vertical (900x1600), the secondary machine did rotate correctly, but with a verical squish, and that's not what I want.

Hi @iiibbbmmm,

Is your secondary machine a surface tablet?
Can you maybe send us the screenshot of your display settings with spacedesk connected?

but with a verical squish,

and also a screenshot of this?

Could you also please run dxdiag.exe on your primary machine, click "Save All Information", then save the output file (dxdiag.txt).

Please save all requested files in one folder, then right-click -> Send to -> Compressed (zipped) folder, then attach the *.zip file on your next reply.

Hi @iiibbbmmm,

Thanks for sending the requested files.
Currently, auto-rotation is NOT YET being handled by the UWP (Windows Store) viewer app properly.
The screenshot you sent is what Windows does as default behavior for handing the display rotation (e.g. stretch the screen to the new aspect ratio).

Any temporary workaround?

How about adding a manual-rotation?

I mean setting the rotation inside Viewer.

My guess is, primary machine sending the correct 1600x900 stream, but UWP viewer display it rotated.

Not locked. Even the viewer toolbar is normally displayed.

Display rotation is not yet being handled by the viewer app. This is already in our developer's task list. We will let you know as soon as it's available.
