Hi @bambo,
Does the Viewer app shows any status (e.g. display off / error code) upon connect?
Does your PC immediately recovers after disconnecting the viewer app?

For further analysis, could you please send us the following details.
Primary Machine
- operating system (Windows 8.1/10)?
- graphics adapter (AMD/Intel/Nvidia)
- network connection type (wired/wireless/USB tethering/WiFi Direct)

Secondary Machine
- Viewer type (Android/iOS/Windows/HTML5)
- network connection type (wired/wireless/USB tethering/WiFi Direct)

If I connect, the monitor of my pc freezes and on the phone stands "display off". And when I stop the connection on my phone, the computer doesnt recover.

Primary Machine
- operating system Windows 10
- graphics adapter Nvidia (Game Ready Driver 461.40)
- network connection type USB tethering

Secondary Machine
- Viewer type Android
- network connection type USB tethering

Hi @bambo,
Thanks for the info.

So you need to reboot your machine ?

Do you maybe have Nvidia ShadowPlay/screen recording/instant replay currently active on your primary machine?

For further analysis, could you please run dxdiag.exe on your primary machine, click "Save All Information", then attach the output file (dxdiag.txt) on your next reply.

So i did turn off shadowplay while connecting and now its fine. Thanks a lot! I think at that point i dont have to send you the logs, right?

Hi @bambo,
We are glad to hear that it's working now.
There's no need for the diagnostic logs in this case.
