Hi @thegohar,

Did you install our most recent spacedesk Driver v0.9.68?
Can you try to run the msi installer and click the Repair, then try again to connect.

If problem still persist, could you please run dxdiag.exe, click "Save All Information", then attach the output file (dxdiag.txt) on your next reply.
PS: Attach option should be visible on your side after your second post.

Hi @thegohar,

Thanks for sending the requested file.
It seems that spacedesk Mouse and HID keyboard drivers were installed properly.
Can you quickly check the following:
- Check if "spacedeskktm.dll" is in C:\Windows\System32
- Run devmgmt.msc, click View tab -> Devices by Connection then find spacedesk Mouse and spacedesk virtual HID Device, and check if there's no error/yellow exclamation mark.

Hi @thegohar,

Did you click the View tab -> "Devices by Connection" of the device manager?
spacedesk virtual HID Device should be visible, since it's also on your dxdiag file.

For further analysis, could you please send us the following:
- spacedeskSetup.log file located in C:\Users\Public
- setupapi.dev.log file located in C:\Windows\INF

Please save all requested files in one folder, then right-click -> Send to -> Compressed (zipped) folder, then attach the *.zip file on your next reply.

Hi @thegohar,
Thanks for sending the log files.
spacedesk Mouse and HID keyboard driver seems to install properly.

What is your viewer app type? Windows/Android/iOS/HTML5?
Can you also try our most recent spacedesk Driver v0.9.68 on our website https://spacedesk.net/?
Then check if problem still persist.

Hi @thegohar,

Thanks for quickly trying it.
What is the current touchscreen input type on your android viewer settings?
Is it absolute or relative?

To further analyze this issue, please download the spacedesk diagnostic script here, then extract it.
https://www.dropbox.com/s/ilm5em35h0ygsfm/2020_spacedeskDiagnosticTool.zip?dl=0

Inside you will find spacedeskDiagnosticTool.cmd, just right-click it then run as administrator.
This script will start a debug view app to capture spacedesk debug traces.
On step 5 it will prompt you to reproduce the issue (by trying to connect the viewer app to trigger the spacedesk error on keyboard and mouse), make sure to do this before pressing any key to continue.
After the script is done, a folder will be created on the same folder as the script file which contains various log files that we need for analysis.
Please right-click it -> Send to -> Compressed (zipped) folder, then attach the *.zip file on your next reply.

Looking forward to your feedback.

Well it's 2021 and I face the same issue as described in this post.

Drivers are installed, no yellow marks, dlls are present in system32 and I have the latest versions of server and client.

I use an iPad as secondary display, touchscreen works fine but I keep receiving keyboard/mouse driver missing notifications once I connect to server.

I don't know what limitation that brings but I'll gladly receive any suggestion from the community.

Hi @youms,

Did you try if the remote keyboard/mouse is really not working when this message pop-up?
Are you currently using our most recent spacedesk Driver v0987?

Did you check if spacedesk virtual HID Device and devices underneath in device manager (View -> Device by connection) are installed properly?

To further analyze this issue, please download the spacedesk diagnostic script here, then extract it.
https://www.dropbox.com/s/z8h5llgi8c2ig3g/2021_spacedeskDiagnosticTool.zip?dl=0

Inside you will find spacedeskDiagnosticTool.cmd, just right-click it then run as administrator.
This script will start a debug view app to capture spacedesk debug traces.
On step 5 it will prompt you to reproduce the issue (by connecting the viewer app and wait for the error notification), make sure to do this before pressing any key to continue.
After the script is done, a folder will be created on the same folder as the script file which contains various log files that we need for analysis.
Please right-click it -> Send to -> Compressed (zipped) folder, then attach the *.zip file on your next reply.

@spacedesklea

I am grateful for the reply

spacedesk_driver_Win_10_64_v0987_BETA is what I downloaded and installed. I made sure antivirus is turned off, yet that error keeps popping up.

Checked all you had recommended to the author of this thread and found no issues.

I noticed I don't need the feature for now since I use an iPad as secondary display, but I will run the logger tool in that DROPBOX link and send results here.

Edit, attached zip file containing logs

Hi @youms,

Thank you very much for sending the diagnostic logs.
We are currently analyzing it.

You mentioned that the touchscreen works, does it show the mouse pointer when you touch the spacedesk screen? or just a small circle (which is an indication of touch input)?
Is the touch type in viewer app settings set to absolute or relative touch?

I am grateful for the response @spacedesklea

Touch input is set to absolute and once I tap the screen, it controls the mouse.

When touch input is set to relative, it controls the mouse too, in a different way obviously.

Nothing like a small circle, it's the mouse itself that get's displaced

Hope this informationo helps.

Hi @youms,
Thanks for the feedback.
Could you please double check on your device manager if the spacedesk virtual HID Device driver installed properly.
Just run devmgmt.msc -> View tab -> "Devices by connection" then find the spacedesk virtual HID Device and check if all the devices underneath are present, please check the screenshot I attached for reference.
