iPad Pro - USB lightning cable

Hi there,

Is there any way to use an iPad Pro as an external monitor using a USB lightning cable?

My PC runs on Windows 10 and has Thunderbolt 3.

My iPad doesn't have cellular.

I already tried WIFI (it's laggy) and Mobile Hotspot (poor quality). I guess if it uses a USB lightning cable, it will fast and high quality.

Thanks.

Hi @juanmzc,

Unfortunately, native USB (lightning cable) connection is not yet supported by spacedesk.
Only USB tethering approach is applicable for spacedesk in case you want to use your USB lightning cable.
BUT since there's no cellular on your tablet, USB tethering is not possible on your side.

The only option at the moment for you are WiFi or WiFi Hotspot.

spacedesk will probably offer h264 hardware encoding soon.
This will probably improve the performance especially on wireless connection.

Did it improve the performance when you connect via USB hub's  LAN port?
