I have 2 iPads, a iPad Pro 9.7 Wifi, and a iPad 2018 Wifi+Cellular, they connect to the same wifi, and no VPN active. The 1st one works just fine, but the 2nd doesn't. I tried reinstall but it doesn't work.

I tried, it works fine on Chrome, but Chrome can't be full screen. On other browsers like Safari, Firefox, Edge it shows black screen (not work).
Hi @yjmp14
Ok thank you for the info, what is the version of your Safari browser?
HTML5 viewer currently does not support Firefox and Edge browser.
What is the current iOS version of your iPad 2018?
On your iPad 2018, can you temporarily try disabling the cellular (just use wifi) then try to connect with spacedesk iOS viewer app.

iOS version is 12.3, and I do have Cellular disabled (no SIM card insert).
I'll provide other info (Safari version) later.
Here is the UA info of Safari.
Mozilla/5.0 (iPad; CPU OS 12_3 like Mac OS X) AppleWebKit/605.1.15 (KHTML, like Gecko) Version/12.1.1 Mobile/15E148 Safari/604.1
Hi @yjmp14
It seems that the problem is on iOS viewer app, since HTML5 viewer on Chrome worked.
But HTMl5 viewer on Safari should also work.
Upon connection attempt with Safari browser, did you notice any error message notification on your primary machine?
Did you try Google Chrome first then Safari? Is HTML5 viewer on Google Chrome still connected when you tried with Safari?
Please make sure that you disconnect first the HTML5 viewer on Google Chrome before connecting with Safari browser.
FYI: spacedesk only allows 1 HTML5 connection at a time.

Lea

I tried again, disconnect Chrome then try Safari, same result.
When try to connect from Safari, the primary client shows 'Error - connect attempt failed'.
BTW, it works fine on the other iPad's Safari. And the spacedesk app on that error iPad can hardly detect server (shows Cannot detect Server! ), and use '+' to add server doesn't work. (I tried reinstall and open/close the app lots of times yesterday, it only detected server very few times.)
Hi @yjmp14
Thank you for info. It seems that it's a problem with network discovery of the iOS viewer app on that device.
Could you please check on your primary machine, if there's an existing connection on Network Connections (remote) tab on spacedesk server window even after disconnecting from Chrome.

Lea

Oh, yeah, I noticed that, cause it can't remove (disconnect) a client on primary side, so I rebooted both my PC and iPad, now the Safari works. But the app still not. (Cannot detect server.)
Hi @yjmp14
Thank you for the feedback.
For now please use the HTML5 viewer on Safari, you can do fullscreen there.
We will continue analyzing the network discovery problem on our iOS viewer app.
We will get back to you as soon as we have a new version on the app store for you to try.

Thank you! It's a great app, I appreciate your work.
Hi @yjmp14
By the way, is your other iPad (Pro 9.7) also has iOS version 12.3?

Currently it's iOS 13 Beta, but I can confirm Spacedesk works on 12.3, I installed the app before I update the OS so I know.
Thank you very much for the info.

Hi, I updated iOS viewer app to 1.0.22 and I tried what you said, Still Cannot detect server, and manually add IP doesn't work either. By the way, my primary client version is 0.9.18 on Windows.
Hi @yjmp14
Thank you for the feedback.
We will get back to you as soon as we have a new iOS viewer version with the possible fix for the network discovery issue.

OK, Thank you!
Hi, just want to tell you, I didn't do anything (No change on PC, router and iPad) but the app works today on my iPad 2018, it's amazing!
This is a new iPad, the only thing I did for the first time on this iPad today is connected a mobile hotspot shared from my Android phone. And while I using hotspot I opened the app once I think.

Stop working again. Still don't know the reason.
The same problem. The primary machine was detectable but "display disconnected by server" and shows same error code on my Ipad 2018.
Safiri and Chrome also didn't work showing IP address not correct.
@hedong433664 Please make sure that both primary machine and iOS device are connected on the same local area network.

Hi @yjmp14
Can you quickly try switching the WiFi ON/OFF in your iPad settings then relaunch the viewer app.
Please check if it helps.

I tried, and it doesn't work.
Hi @yjmp14
Thank you for trying it - very much appreciated.
We are currently reimplementing our iOS viewer app with the new architecture.
Hopefully this will fix various bugs including yours.
Estimated release of this version is probably 3-4 weeks from now.
We will let you know as soon as we have it on the App Store.

Hi, I have a clue. Recently I found there are some network ports which my iPad can't access, like there is a firewall running in it but I don't know.
I found this because I can't connect to my VPN server on 444 tcp port, I don't know if there are other ports blocked by this invisible firewall, maybe this is the reason?
Correction: It's not the port reason (I changed the VPN server port and did some other tries then I can confirm).
Now it's still a mystery why it can't connect to that specific VPN server as well as Spacedesk.
PS. It can successfully connect to another vpn server use the same port, and my other iPad can connect to that specific VPN server under same network. Both VPN server have the same configuration, it's so weird just like the issue with Spacedesk.
I guess that doesn't have too much to do with the <a href=" removed link " target="true">iPad version or model, unless the gadget is not working. But I did not encounter the situation that you came across. So I don't think I could give anything really useful.
