Hi @bodispace,
what is your primary machine operating system (Windows 8.1/10)?

For further analysis, could you please send us the following:
- run dxdiag.exe on your primary machine, click "Save all information", save the output file (dxdiag.txt)
- spacedeskSetup.log file located in C:\Users\Public
- setupapi.dev.log file located in C:\Windows\INF

Please save all requested files in one folder, then right-click -> Send to -> Compressed (zipped) folder, then attach the *.zip file on your next reply.

PS: Attach option should be visible on your side after your second post.

Hi @bodispace,
Thanks for sending the log files.
Could you please verify if you have permission to write in C:\Program Files folder.
Just save any file (e.g. blank txt document or create a blank/new folder inside C:\Program Files directory.

Hi @bodispace,

Did you try with our latest spacedesk Driver v0.9.78 (we just released it yesterday).
Could you also please send the dxdiag.txt of your primary machine for further analysis.

By the way, do you have antivirus currently active on your primary machine?

Hi @bodispace,

Thanks for sending the dxdiag info.
In the meantime, could you please try the following steps:
- right-click on the C:\Program Files folder and select Properties
- go to the Security tab and click on the Edit button
- under Group or user names section, select Administrators.
- go to the Permissions for Administrators section and check the Allow box next to Full control.
- click Apply and then OK to save the changes and exit.
Then try again with spacedesk installation.

Hi @bodispace,

Please reboot first your primary machine before you try the suggestion below.

Next - could you please try to run Command Prompt as Administrator then call/run the spacedesk MSI installer there.

Hi @bodispace,
Can you quickly try the Install/Uninstall troubleshooter program from the Microsoft Fix article.
https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/help/17588/fix-problems-that-block-programs-from-being-installed-or-removed
If spacedesk is not on the program list, just select “Not Listed” then paste the product code of current spacedesk version below.
spacedesk_driver_Win_10_64_v0978_BETA.msi:{97A67668-A308-49EC-B462-67325EFCD3BC}

Then try again with spacedesk installation.

I've tried your method, but I still can't install it

Do you have any other contact information? It's inefficient

Hi @bodispace,
Thanks for quickly trying it.
Unfortunately, we cannot read what's in the screenshot you sent.
Can you try to create another user account (with Administrator access) then try to install spacedesk using this new account?
