Hello @spacedesklea sadly my win10 machine passed away, so i can no further do any testing. Thank you anyways.

Same problem here.

 

Possible reasons are the following:
1. Unstable network connection
   - Is your network reliable/stable? yes
2. Error on spacedesk Primary Machine
   - Is the server showing an error message bubble? yes, I see it in the windows side messages, "Error - DisplayLink Driver detected - incompatible display hook driver"

 

For further analysis, could you please send us the following info:
Primary machine
- Operating system: win10 pro
- Graphics Adapter: intel
- Network type:wired (I also tried with wireless)
Secondary machine
- Viewer type: windows (Not working in android too)
- Network type: wireless
 
I also looked ay my device manager and I can't see there and driver for spacedesk under display adapter.
I can't find where to put my dxdiag file.

If you have an old DisplayLink driver installed on your primary machine, please remove/uninstall it, reboot your primary machine and try again with spacedesk.

Can't see it, where can I find this driver?

Anyway, I did my search, I don't think I have it installed.

Please try the following:
- run Command Prompt as Administrator
- type the following
sc query DisplayLinkService <enter>
sc query dlkmd <enter>
sc query dlkmdldr <enter>

Then send us the screenshot of all the result.

Sorry, you was right, I had DisplayLink installed.

I uninstalled it and now spacedesk is working.

on my phone it gives that error and on the pc is says keyboard/mouse driver unavailable

Hi @thegohar,

Did you install our most recent spacedesk Driver v0.9.68?
Can you try to run the msi installer and click the "Repair", then try again to connect.

If problem still persist, could you please run dxdiag.exe, click "Save All Information", then attach the output file (dxdiag.txt) on your next reply.

For further analysis, could you please run dxdiag.exe on your primary machine, click "Save All Information", then attach the output file on your next reply.

I get the error code in my phone.

Error code : 2-5-6 and error info: 0-5-8 connected time: 00:00:11

No error notification in my primary machine

Thanks for sending you dxdiag.
Do you have Nvidia ShadowPlay/screen recording enabled on your primary machine?
If yes, please disable it before connecting a spacedesk viewer app.

Yeah msybe this... is there anyway that i can increase the fps because its lagging

Yes, we still have a known performance issue with spacedesk.
We are currently working on it. We will let you know as soon as we have news regarding this issue.
In the meantime, you can also try some things to improve the performance, please check the Performance tuning chapter in our user manual https://spacedesk.net/user-manual/.
Then let us know if it helps.

Hola yo tengo este mismo error 

error code:2-5-

Error info:0-5

Pero ami me funcionaba, yo le hice un formateo a la pc y instala driver y controladores de nuevo y dejo de funcionar el programa después de volverlo a instalar

- Graphics Adapter (AMD/Intel/Nvidia)?
- Network type (wired/wireless/wifi direct/usb tethering)?

Secondary machine
- Viewer type (Android/iOS/Windows/HTML5)?
- Network type (wired/wireless/wifi direct/usb tethering)?

For further analysis, could you please run dxdiag.exe on your primary machine, click "Save All Information", then attach the output file (dxdiag.txt) on your next reply.

hello, I have same problem

my desktop bubble notification says "Error - Driver not available! spacedesktray.exe"

my second machine/android says "Disconect by server error"

Please make sure that you are using the most recent spacedesk Driver and Viewer app version.
Could you please quickly try to run services.msc on your primary machine, find spacedeskService and restart it, then try again with spacedesk.
For assistance, please also check troubleshooting chapters in our user manual https://spacedesk.net/user-manual/.

Hello, 

I had also this problem. I think always it is because another problem, but I solve it by uninstall on PC WiredXDisplay. This program is also made to make your phone to second display...

hi i have used this app before and it was so good for me but once my loptob broken and i take it to its warranty store to fix it but they reset my c (windows) driver and it doesnt show the apps that u installed before in the control panel 

i dont know that and install the new version of space desk on my primary machine and now i recive this eror (2-5) and info (0-5) when i try to connect

please help me i realy need this app

Hi @mojiro,

What is the connection time?
Did you install the most recent spacedesk Driver version 0.9.72?
Did you notice any error notification upon connection attempt?
For assistance, please also check troubleshooting chapter in our user manual https://spacedesk.net/user-manual/.

If problem still persist, please download the spacedesk diagnostic script here, then extract it.

Inside you will find spacedeskDiagnosticTool.cmd, just right-click it then run as administrator.
This script will start a debug view app to capture spacedesk debug traces.
On step 5 it will prompt you to reproduce the issue (by trying to connect the viewer app and wait for the issue to happen), make sure to do this before pressing any key to continue.
After the script is done, a folder will be created on the same folder as the script file which contains various log files that we need for analysis.
Please right-click it -> Send to -> Compressed (zipped) folder, then attach the *.zip file on your next reply.

Hi @mojiro,
Thanks for sending the diagnostic logs. However it's not complete, it's only debug view traces.
We also need the other diagnostic files generated by the script (e.g. etl files, setup logs, dxdiag info, wdf dump files if available).
Could you please send those too, just run again the diagnostic script.

Hey, unfortunately I have the same Problem.

 

Error Code: 2-5 Error Info: 0-5 Connection Time: 00:00:01

 

I have no Error notification on my primary machine (Windows 10). My secondary machine is a Galaxy Tab S3 with Android. My graphics Adapter is Intel. I reinstalled already and I tried the spacedesk late activation script.

Can you help me? In the device manager I can see the spacedesk graphic adapter, but there is a warning triangle that says, the driver is not working properly.

 

PS: I wanted to attach my dxdiag file, but I can´t figure out how.

Just right-click it then "Properties".

What is your Windows 10 build version?
You can see it by running "winver".

The error code is 31.

My System is Windows 10 Enterprise 2016 LTSB Version 1607 Build 14393.4104

I have used the debug tool and attached the folder.

Thanks for sending your dxdiag info. Is this the most recent dxdiag file?
It seems that the spacedesk Driver version on this dxdiag is a bit older (1.1.286.123).
The current spacedesk driver v0976 should be 1.1.289.126.
I checked the setup log and I know you already installed the latest driver v0976, which is strange.

Could you please try the following steps.
- Uninstall the current spacedesk driver on your machine using the v0976 msi installer, just select "Remove".
- Check the spacedesk Graphics Adapter in the device manager if it's gone then reinstall the spacedesk Driver and try again.
-- If it's still there after uninstalling the spacedesk (via MSI installer), then try to right-click -> Uninstall device (make sure to check the "Delete the driver software for this device" before clicking the Uninstall button).

Hey, yes that was the most recent dxdiag file.

 

I´ve followed your steps. After uninstalling the spacedesk driver it was not shown in the device manager anymore. Then i reinstalled it but the spacedesk graphic adapter was not shown in device manager. First after trying to connect my tablet to my PC the adapter was shown in the device manager with the same error code as before (31).

 

I made a dxdiag pre and post connection (both after reinstallation of the driver). It shows the same "old" driver version in the post connection dxdiag. In the pre connection dxdiag it doesn´t seem to be installed at all although I have the tray icon and can find it on the wifi with my tablet. I really don´t understand it.

Hi @mkay,
We were able to reproduce it on our side and it seems that it's only happening on Windows 10 v1607 build version.

So far we don't have a solution for this issue but you can try this workaround:
- on device manager, if Code 31 error is on spacedesk Graphics Adapter please try to right-click Uninstall device (make sure to check the "Delete the driver software for this device" before clicking the Uninstall button)
- run spacedesk v0976 MSI installer and click Repair
- then try again to connect

Please let us know if this works for you.

This new version includes the solution for the Code 31 error on your machine. No need to do the workaround.

i installed the new driver version and it works perfectly fine. Device manager shows no error code and the driver version is 1.1.290.127.
