Hi @maksim,

This error indicates that the primary machine can be reached over the network but connection fails after the indicated connection time.
Possible reasons are the following:
1. Unstable network connection
   - Is your network reliable/stable?
2. Error on spacedesk Primary Machine
   - Is the server showing an error message bubble?

For assistance, please also refer to the troubleshooting chapters in our spacedesk user manual.

For further analysis, could you please send us the following info:
Primary machine
- Operating system (Windows 7/8.1/10)
- Graphics Adapter (AMD/Intel/Nvidia/Microsoft Basic Display)
- Network type (wired/wireless/USB tethering/WiFi Direct)
Secondary machine
- Viewer type (Android/iOS/Windows/HTML50
- Network type (wired/wireless/USB tethering/WiFi Direct)

hi, I also get this error so I join to this toipic. 

my workspace:

2 graphics card (Intel and Nvidia

i don't have shadow play 🙂

android 9 huawei p 20 pro

no

i also notice when I try connect to primary machine display blink for a half second 🙂

Thanks for sending your dxdiag info.
Did you already remove our spacedesk Driver on your primary machine?
I don't see it on your dxdiag info.
Did you get the error with our most recent spacedesk Driver version 0.9.33?

Did you notice any error message in the task bar's notification area on primary machine upon connection attempt?
Can you also tell us the following details:
 - connection time below the error code/info
 - viewer app type (Android/iOS/Windows)?
For further analysis, could you please run dxdiag.exe click "Save All Information", save the output file then attach it on your next reply.

Hi @adlol22,
Thank you for sending your dxdiag.
Is this the dxdiag on your primary machine or secondary machine?
Based on the details, you don't have spacedesk Graphics Adapter currently installed in the machine.
Could you please check on the device manager (just run devmgmt.msc) of your primary machine if Display adapters -> spacedesk Graphics Adapter is present.
Did you also notice any error notification in the task bar of your primary machine upon connection attempt?

Hi @adlol22,
Could you please verify if there's a spacedesk Graphics Adapter on your device manager's Display adapters.
If there's none, please try to run the spacedesk driver installer and click Repair, then check again.

Hey,

I am experiencing the same issue as above. On primary device there is a balloon with "Error - driver not available" when I try to connect. Service goes to ERROR state and require to be OFFed and the ONed again ;).

Windows 7/64bit, nvidia, trying to connect to lenovo yoga 3 with Android 7.1.1. The devices can see each other (I mean primary machine is detected) but the connection is "closed by remote server".

And, indeed, cannot find spacedesk Graphics Adapter. There is spacedesk Mouse and Keyboard, but no graphics. When I run the installer again it says that it cannot repair, just remove :/

Hi @turkot,
spacedesk Graphics Adapter in device manager are only available in Windows 10 primary machine.
For Windows 7/8.1 primary machine it is our spacedesk Hook Driver that is running in the background, and also not visible in the device manager.
To verify if it's running, just run Command Prompt as Administrator then type "sc query spacedeskHookKmode".
For further analysis, could you please run dxdiag.exe on your Windows 7 primary machine, click "Save All Information", save the output file (dxdiag.txt) then attach it on your next reply.

sc query spacedeskHookKmode tells me that service is up and running.

I am falling into maddness searching for an "attachment" button o.o

[edit] it showed itself before my eyes after a second post...

Hi @turkot,
thanks for sending the your dxdiag info.
You said before that you have Nvidia, but according to your dxdiag info you have Intel HD 4600 graphics adapter.
Is your lenovo machine has dual graphics adapter?
Is your Nvidia, a Quadro type? Can you tell us the exact Nvidia device/model name?

Well, @spacedeskleaindeed I see dual display adapters, Intel HD Graphics 4600 and NVIDIA Quadro K1100M. In Display/Screen resolution I see that I use only Intel, btw, Mobile PC Display, that appeared after installing spacedesk is present and can be configured as duplicate removed link

Thanks for the info.
So duplication works? but not with extension mode?
Could you please download the spacedesk_LateActivationDisable.zip here then right-click Extract files. 
Inside you will find spacedesk_LateActivationDisable.cmd file, just right-click and run as administrator then reboot your primary machine.
After reboot, please try again with spacedesk.

nvidia rtx 2060 

- Network type (wired/wireless/USB tethering/WiFi Direct)
 
wired

Secondary machine

- Viewer type (Android/iOS/Windows/HTML50
 
windows 

- Network type (wired/wireless/USB tethering/WiFi Direct)

oops i just got a error on the primary saying it "failed to plug additional display", i didn't see it before
 
also i would attach my dxdiag but i cant find the attach file button here 🙁

What is the connection time? it's below the error code/info.
Attach option will be available after your first approved post, so by now it should be visible now on your side.

Could you please try to update your AMD Radeon(TM) R5 Graphics driver, you can download the latest  driver version here: https://www.amd.com/en/support
Then after that, please run dxdiag.exe again, and send us an updated dxdiag info.

Is spacedesk Driver currently installed in your primary machine?
Based on your dxdiag, no spacedesk Graphics Adapter in there.
Could you please check on your device manager, just run devmgmt.msc then find it in Display adapters.

Hi @adlol22,

 

Could you please try the following on your primary machine:
- open spacedesk server window, click the menu button and select Clear All Display Settings
- run services.msc, find spacedeskService then restart it
- run devmgmt.msc, open to Display adapters -> spacedesk Graphics Adapter, right-click disable then enable it.
After the steps above, please try to connect again, then let us know the result.

 

If problem is still there, please send us  the following:
1. updated dxdiag info (run dxdiag.exe again and Save All Information)
2. all the spacedesk etl log files in C:\Users\Public\spacedesk_logs folder
3. spacedeskSetup.log file located in C:\Users\Public folder
4. Go to C:\ProgramData\Microsoft\WDF, then save the (2-more) most recent WudfHost_ext__xxxx.dmp files.
Note: ProgramData folder is hidden by default, in case you cannot find it you should enable first the "Show hidden files, folders and drives".
Just open a File Explorer -> View -> Options, on Folder Options window click View tab then click the "Show hidden files, folders and drives" to enable it then apply the changes.

 

 

Please save all the requested files in one folder, zipped it then attach it on your next reply.

Do you have Nvidia ShadowPlay/screen recording currently running on your primary machine?

Could you please right-click disable and enabled spacedesk Graphics Adapter in device manager then run services.msc, find spacedeskService and restart it.
Then try to connect again and if you still get the same error, please send us the following:
- all the spacedesk etl log files in C:\Users\Public\spacedesk_logs folder
- go to C:\ProgramData\Microsoft\WDF, then save the (2-more) most recent WudfHost_ext__xxxx.dmp files

Hi @tuurs,
Could you please download the spacedesk_LateActivationDisable.zip here then right-click Extract files.
Inside you will find spacedesk_LateActivationDisable.cmd file, just right-click and run as administrator then reboot your primary machine.
After reboot, please try again with spacedesk.
