Disconnected by server error

Error Code: 2-5

Error Info: 0-5

Connected time: 00:00:01

Primary machine operating system: Windows 10
Secondary machine operating system: Android

Primary machines's Graphics adapter: Intel
Network connection type: Wireless

I've just installed SpaceDesk and am really looking forward to using it. However, I immediately came across this issue. I've used the Repair option from the Installer, uninstalled and reinstalled, did everything I was aware of. I tried to look for the driver in Display Adaptors in Device Manager but could not find it, although I read recently that it is now only visible when connected. Please help, I really want to be able to use this!

Hi @aari,

Did you notice any error notification on your primary machine upon connection attempt?
For further analysis, could you please run dxdiag.exe on your primary machine, click "Save All Information", then attach the output file (dxdiag.txt) on your next reply.
PS: Attach option should be visible on your side after your second post.

Hi Lea!

Thank you very much for the prompt response. I did not see any error notification on the primary machine. However, the secondary machine did not even show up under the Network Connections (remote) tab. I've yet to see the attach option so I'll leave a second reply to see if it shows up.

Also, sorry to send so many replies, but it seems like there is an error notification now! It says "Error - Duet Display, Splashtop, Fresco Logic, etc. Driver Detected - Incompatible Display Hook Driver!"

I had downloaded Splashtop before but immediately uninstalled. I found there was still a Splashtop folder left in my Program files so I deleted it and restarted SpaceDesk, but I'm still getting the same error notification.

Hi @aari,

Thanks for getting back to us.
It seems that splashtop is not uninstalling their hook display driver properly.

Please try the following:
- run Command Prompt as Administrator
- type the command:

   sc query lci_proxykmd <enter>
   sc query lci_proxywddm <enter>

- if status shows STOPPED or RUNNING please try the next command:

  sc delete lci_proxykmd <enter>
  sc delete lci_proxywddm <enter>

- reboot your primary machine
- try again with spacedesk connection
