Hi @wwe3217,
Did you check in display settings windows on your primary machine if it shows a detached display?
For assistance, please also check troubleshooting chapters in user manual https://spacedesk.net/user-manual/
For further analysis, could you please send us the following info:
Primary machine
- operating systems (Windows 8.1/10)?
- graphics adapter (AMD/Intel/Nvidia)?
- network connection (wired/wireless/wifi direct/USB tethering)?
Secondary machine
- viewer type (Android/iOS/Windows/HTML5)
- network connection (wired/wireless/wifi direct/USB tethering)?

Looking forward to your feedback.

Hi Lea (@spacedesklea),

My primary device is windows 10 (not pro) and the processor is an AMD 4000 Quad core. The adaptor is Nvidia 1050 Ti. This is connected by LAN.

My secondary devices are an apple iPad and a Samsung s8 both connected to wifi.

I hope you can help!

Many Thanks,

WWE3217.

Hi @wwe3217,

Thanks for sending your PC info.
Does the spacedesk status and connection count in spacedesk SERVER window indicates a connected viewer?

Could you please try to the following:
1. check if there's a detached secondary display on your display settings, if it's there please attach it
2. if #1 did not help, please run services.msc on your primary machine, find spacedeskService and restart it then try again with spacedesk connection.

If suggestions above did not help, could you please run dxdiag.exe on your primary machine, click "Save All Information" then attach the output file (dxdiag.txt) on your next reply.

Looking forward to your feedback.

Hi @wwe3217,
Thanks for sending the requested file.
Based on your dxdiag, you have splashtop driver present on your primary machine.
splashtop and spacedesk cannot coexist in one machine.
You have to uninstall/remove splashtop then reboot your primary machine before connecting spacedesk.
For more info, please check Incompatible Display Hook Driver Detected chapter in our user manual
