command prompt error while trying to setup USB tethering using the hosted network for windows 8.1 in the manual.  I enter all information... when i enter the "netsh wlan start hostednetwork" command I get the following error message. "the hosted network couldn't be started. the group or resources is not in the correct state to perform the requested operation."  Not sure what I am doing wrong.  I have tried over a dozen times ensuring I am following the proper steps and syntax.  Tried rebooting.  Tried several SSID and key names.  I am at a loss.  Trying to connect via USB as over wifi is just too slow.

Hi @dbrault,

This can happen if the virtual network adapter is disabled.

Please try the following:
1. Go to Device Manager.
2. Expand the Network adapters tree.
3. Enable the option Show hidden devices from the View menu.
4. Look for the network adapter name Microsoft Hosted Network Virtual Adapter. Right click on it, then select Enable device.

Please let us know if the suggestion above helped.
