Hi

New on this software, I want to do a video wall.

Yesterday I installed and tried one android phone, works perfectly. Then I wanted more and tried two. Now, it didn’t work anymore. I tried a third option, an android phone.

Huawei pad /Samsung S6 and S6 / S9 works together.  It is Huawei pad and Samsung s9 that don’t work together. I tried the most things I can think of, reinstall software, restart, change settings, clear settings.

That I probably think it is. It is the client ID.

Samsung s6 has a client ID: (b82537c-xxx-xxxx-xx-x-x-x-x-x-x-x)
Huawei client ID is: Invalid GUID
Samsung S9 client id is : Invalid GUID

I can only have one Invalid GUID. I don’t know how to change it.

Hi @cojo,
thanks you for reporting this issue.
It seems that the issue was caused by the invalid GUID you are getting from your android viewer apps on your Huawei and S9 device.
It should be a valid GUID/client ID like on your S6 device.
Are you using the latest spacedesk android viewer app v0.9.61 on all your android devices?
What is the current Android version on all your android devices?

We will investigate and analyze this issue.
We will get back to you as soon as we have further questions for you.
In the meantime could you please run dxdiag.exe on your primary machine, click "Save All Information", save the output file (dxdiag.txt) and attach it on your next reply.
PS: Attach option should be visible on your text editor after your second post.

Hi @cojo,
Thanks for sending the dxdiag.
What is the Android version of your android devices? Is it Android 9 or 10 or lower?
Can you also try our most recent spacedesk Driver v0.9.63 which is now available on our website.
If problem still persist on the latest driver, could you please click the "Export Registry Settings" on your Videowall Engine window, zip it and attach it on your next reply.

Hi,

I also find myself in the same situation:
- PC windows 10 (HOST)
- Samsung Galaxy TAB A (client 1)
- Samsung Galaxy TAB S2 (client 2)

Individually the clients work but if I try to connect them simultaneously I get the error:

Disconnected by server error
Error Code: 2-5-6
Error Info: 0-5-8

Thanks

Hi @cojo,
Thanks for the info.
Can you quickly try to save the IP address of your primary machine on the Auto-Connect to IP address on your viewer apps on S8 and huawei pad.
Close the viewer app first then run it again, check if this will temporarily fix the issue.
Looking forward to your feedback.

And could you also please send us the dxdiag info of your business computer, to further investigate this issue.

Hello! I have the same problem. I have two stock Android 10 tablets from Samsung. Both have latest SpaceDesk installed. Windows 10 Pc also have latest driver installed. spacedesk_driver_Win_10_64_v0964_BETA.
Getting the same errors that the Topic creator has. One tablet works, but as soon as I try to connect second, both disconnect.

Hi @corbswe,
Is video wall enabled on your side? If yes, does it also shows Invalid GUID as client ID when you connect the tablets?

Hi

I do not know if this is a solution for everyone.

I cleared all settings, I connected the device with “duplicate window”, then I got a “Client ID” on Samsung S8. I did the same on Huawei pad.

Now I have three different ClientID and can connect with three extra monitors.

Hi @cojo,
Thanks you very much for the input.

We were now able to reproduce the same issue on our side and quickly analyze it.
It seems that it's happening if the viewer app doesn't have a saved data yet.
So we were able to reproduce after the clear data option in the device settings -> Apps -> spacedesk.

As a work around, you just have to save a data on the app by changing any of the default settings in the viewer's settings (e.g. save auto-connect IP address or set different custom resolution or disable touch/auto-rotation) then rerun the app.
If it works on your side, you can now change back to the previous settings.

We will soon fix this issue and let you know if we have a new version for you to test.

@bezalel79, please also try it and let us know if it works.
