When installing Spacedesk (v9.85) it causes my AMD drivers to break, and Radeon Adrenalin reports that the Drivers aren't installed or aren't working. The bug seems to have been introduced in recent updates.

Hi @amduser,
Could you please run devmgmt.msc on your primary machine, and check if Display adapters -> AMD driver has any error or yellow exclamation mark?
If there's an error, can you maybe send us the screenshot?

For further analysis, could you please run dxdiag.exe on your primary machine, click "Save All Information", then attach the output file (dxdiag.txt) on your next reply.

PS: Attach option should be visible on your side after your second post.

There is no error in device manager, but I can't seem to attach my dxdiag, however, its falling back to the basic display driver

Can you check again, if the attach option is now visible on your side?

Hi @amduser,
Thanks for sending your dxdiag.
It seems that your AMD graphics driver downgraded to Microsoft Basic Display Driver.

So this happens during spacedesk Driver installation, correct?

Can you try the following on your primary machine:
- run devmgmt.msc
- go to display adapters -> Microsoft Basic Display Driver
- right-click -> Updated driver -> Browse my computer for drivers -> Let me pick from a list of available drivers on my computer
- select the AMD graphics driver from the list shown, then click Next and wait for the driver to update from Basic Display to AMD.
- then try our new spacedesk Driver v0987 on our website
Please check if you get the same issue as before and let us know.
If it happens again, please try again the steps above to repair the AMD driver.
